DMCA Copyright Policy
Effective: April 29, 2026
1. What the DMCA Is
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) provides a process for copyright owners to request removal of infringing material from online services. SelectDrive is operated by SelectDrive LLC, which respects intellectual property rights and complies with the DMCA.
2. Designated Agent
SelectDrive LLC has designated the following agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement.

3. How to File a Takedown Notice (§ 512(c)(3))
If you believe material on SelectDrive infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to locate it (URL preferred)
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

4. Counter-Notification (§ 512(g))
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, the Southern District of Iowa, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification
5. Repeat Infringers
SelectDrive LLC will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
6. Good Faith
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages.
