Every quote includes an 8% insurance surcharge and line-item costs for driver pay, fuel, tolls, lodging where applicable, and Dan's return travel home. Express service (under 3 days notice) adds a 5% surcharge on the base. The AI calculates actual driving distances, not as-the-crow-flies estimates. Transit days assume Dan drives 8 hours max per day (about 500 miles), which is why long routes include overnight lodging.

Cancellations 7 or more days before your scheduled pickup receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations between 48 hours and 7 days before pickup receive a 50% refund. Cancellations under 48 hours before pickup are non-refundable. If SelectDrive cancels for any reason, you receive a full refund. (Note: if your quote included a flight for Dan to reach your pickup location, that airfare may or may not be refundable depending on how the ticket was booked. Any non-refundable airfare is deducted from your refund regardless of cancellation tier.)
