How does Pilot work?
Pilot uses route details to create a preliminary planning estimate. It does not create a final booking, authorize a charge, or dispatch an interstate trip. Any future service requires granted and active operating authority, trip-specific insurance confirmation, vehicle and driver approval, and a signed agreement.
Can I book entirely through the chat?
No. While required authority is pending, Pilot accepts planning requests only, and SelectDrive does not collect an interstate deposit or dispatch a trip. If authority becomes granted and active, any future trip would still require trip-specific insurance confirmation, vehicle and driver approval, and a signed agreement.
What if I prefer to talk to a person?
Call or text (833) 700-8364 with a planning inquiry, or submit the form and Dan will respond within one business day. A planning conversation does not create a booking or authorize a charge.
How far in advance should I request a route plan?
You can request preliminary planning at any time. The model may show a possible short-notice adjustment for a requested start with less than 3 days notice, but it does not promise a schedule. Any future start date requires granted and active operating authority, trip-specific insurance confirmation, vehicle and driver approval, and a signed agreement.
