Move your car, pets, and belongings together
Because a person drives your car, you can pack belongings and bring a pet that fits, something trailer carriers do not allow. When Dan drives your vehicle to its destination, he can carry items that fit safely below window level and a pet that travels well, all in the same trip.
What fits
Personal belongings that load into the vehicle and stay below the window line so visibility and safe driving are preserved: boxes, clothes, household items, gear, and similar. Trunk and seating space set the limit. We will confirm what works for your specific car when you book.
Traveling with a pet
Dan can transport a dog, cat, or other pet that travels comfortably by car, with regular stops and a climate-controlled vehicle. Pets ride with the driver, not in a cargo hold, and you get updates along the way.
Why trailer carriers cannot do this
Open and enclosed auto-transport carriers prohibit loaded belongings and will not take pets, because no one is with the vehicle in transit. Driveaway is the rare option that moves your car, your things, and your pet in one coordinated trip with one driver.
What it costs
Belongings that fit in the vehicle add nothing to the per-mile rate. Pet trips and goods-only trips are quoted at the same $0.75 per mile plus a rental vehicle when Dan needs one for the load. See the cost guide or estimate your route.
